Director, Product Management

ABR has bold plans to evolve the customer experience for the digital era, and the team is at the center of this aggressive change.  Our team is leading the worldwide effort to develop and orchestrate digital initiatives across every facet of our interactions with customers.  This includes new brand engagement, e-commerce, service delivery, and digital content capabilities.  With the fast emerging digital environment, this team is focused on innovation across the customer journey in and outside our restaurants, identifying the most meaningful opportunities for our customers, and developing capabilities to bring them to life.  We do this in partnership and teamwork with our IT organization and the Markets around the world.

This team was recently formed as ABR hired its first Chief Digital Officer, who brings a deep consumer Internet experience. ABR is aggressively looking to grow it's digital, web and consumer focused capability by adding top tier talent across the company and within the Global Digital team. The team will work in an entrepreneurial and strategic way to push forward our ideas and innovation, execution and culture, all on behalf of customers.  Our current needs include seasoned digital, social media and Internet talent in functions including product management, product marketing, digital marketing, community management, business development, user experience design, and program management.

· Create the customer strategy and product roadmap for a variety of digital experiences that McDonald’s will provide to customers in the areas of e-commerce, services and digital media..

· Lead the customer evangelism by identifying unmet customer needs, defining customer requirements, articulating the customer journey and defining minimally viable products.

· Develop a vision, excite people across the McDonald’s system globally with ideas, and get products quickly to market.

· Author key product definition artifacts including narratives, requirements, use cases, personas and success metrics.

· Collaborate with cross functional teams in the areas of design, engineering and brand marketing to align and execute consumer product strategy.

· Own and drive product roadmaps and deliverables for key experiences.


· Minimum 7+ years’ experience in product management for consumer technology, Internet, digital media or e-commerce.

· Bachelor's degree within a technical discipline; M.B.A. is preferred.

· Ability to grasp complex concepts and develop clear, concise, synthesized recommendations; significant passion for consumer behavior, trends and innovation.

· Ability to work at a fast pace while managing competing priorities; start-up experience preferred.

· Ability to conceive new markets and new products from scratch, evangelize and drive success within a larger organization.

· Demonstrable track record of shipping products and hands-on execution in product delivery.

· Skilled at project and product planning, including product definition, feature prioritization, trade-off processes, and roadmap creation.

· Strong ability to work cross functionally to help shape the product and experiences.

· Self-starter with strong bias for action.
